Loon
This sculpture is due to an account I read of a loon trapped by fast developing ice near Baffin Bay. Since loons need at least 100 ft. for take off this loon was doomed. I thought about the story for a long time and the the choices that we all make that doom us to death or just to a particular kind of life. Anyway, if you could see his feet you would see that they are imbedded in the stone base.
